Barrett enters final Raptors year; an extension near $27.7 million would ask for more
RJ Barrett is entering the final year of his contract with the Toronto Raptors at a salary of $27.705 million, with an extension still uncertain.
Without an extension, the deal ends after the coming season and the forward can test free agency. Recent deals around the league factor into the calculus.
In 2025-26, Barrett was paid like the 61st player in the league and produced like the 115th, per WAGE.
He played 57 games last season, and his WAGE Score rose to 51, in the Going Rate tier, from 16 the year before.
An extension near the current salary would ask that production to climb toward the 61st spot rather than sit near the 115th.
