Bucks weigh Myles Turner trade; $25.3 million salary bought less production last season

The Milwaukee Bucks are weighing a trade of Myles Turner, the club's most likely trade candidate, before this season's NBA trade deadline.

A deal would extend Milwaukee's rebuild after the departure of Giannis Antetokounmpo and move Turner's $25.318 million salary off the books.

In 2025-26, Turner drew the 68th-highest salary for the 156th-most production, per WAGE: a WAGE Score of 35, Going Rate tier.

His WAGE Score was 61 in 2024-25. That drop is the buy-low case: an acquiring team gets value for the salary only if the 2024-25 production returns.

At last season's level, the pay sits well above the output, which gives Milwaukee reason to treat him as expendable.
