WAGE SCORE is published by Marchand Consulting LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”). It is free to read. Its scores are our analytical assessments of what payrolls and salaries returned, its news is written by AI and published automatically, and nothing on it is betting, financial or professional advice. These terms apply when you use the site; what the site collects about a visit is in the Privacy Policy, where you can also change your analytics choice.
A WAGE Score, a WAGE Run, a WAGE Tier and the site's other readings are analytical assessments: our method applied to publicly reported figures, reading what a team's payroll or a player's salary returned in results against the rest of the league. They assess cost against results; they do not assess anyone's ability, character or conduct.
The figures they rest on (salaries, payrolls, results, games played, contract dates) are facts, and we take care to report them correctly. They can still contain mistakes or be out of date. The site is provided as it is, without a promise that it is complete, accurate or always available.
When a figure we published turns out to be wrong, we correct it. A published score is not changed silently: a correction is published as a release, the page of every season it changes says so with the score it replaced, and every correction is listed on the Corrections page. A factual error in a news piece, a brief or a card is corrected, and a piece may be withdrawn. To report an error, use the Contact page.
The news pieces are written by AI writers, presented as such, reread by an AI editor and checked against the site's own figures, then published automatically, without a person reading each one first. Those checks are not an independent verification of every fact a piece reports: what other outlets reported is attributed to them. The team briefs, the player cards and the one-line summaries of player moves in Transactions are written by AI and are not each read by a person before they appear. On the site, every text written by AI carries the AI mark.
The Value Board compares each team's season win total with our readings. Its record is a back-test: the model applied to seasons already played, each season called by a model fitted on the other seasons. It is not a record of actual bets and does not show that betting on it would have made money. From the 2026-27 season the calls are fixed before opening night and graded on the final standings, and the page keeps that record apart from the back-test.
The Value Board is information, not advice or an invitation to bet, and we take no bets. Betting is only for people of the legal age where they are, and only where it is legal; any bet is your own decision and your own risk. In the US, help with a gambling problem is available at 1-800-MY-RESET.

The facts the site reports (salaries, results, games) belong to no one. What we add is ours or licensed to us: the site's design and charts, the WAGE method and the scores it produces, the written texts and the way the figures are selected and arranged. WAGE is the subject of a pending trademark application; WAGE SCORE and Wins Against Gross Expenditure are our trademarks.
Team names, logos and league marks belong to their owners and are used only to name the teams. WAGE SCORE is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any league, team or player.
The WAGE Report is our newsletter, and we use beehiiv to deliver it. Subscribing is a separate choice, made on the signup form: your email address is handled as the Privacy Policy describes, and every issue carries a link to unsubscribe.
Some news pieces show a photo from the publisher that reported the story. If you hold the rights to a photo shown on the site and want it removed, tell us through the Contact page and we will take it down. Links to other sites lead to pages we do not control.
Reviewers and testers who signed an agreement before the launch remain bound by it; where it differs from these terms, the agreement they signed applies to them.
To the extent the law that applies to you allows, Marchand Consulting LLC is not liable for loss arising from a decision you make with the site's figures, including any bet, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or your rights as a consumer.
When these terms change in a way that matters, the new version is posted here with the date it takes effect, and the change is announced on the site and in the next WAGE Report. A change applies from that date only: it does not reach back to anything that happened before it, or change an agreement you signed separately. Questions go through the Contact page. This version is dated 3 October 2026.
